Short term ESC for 2 weeks – Social and Culture Inclusion

CYA Krik is issuing an open call for 4 participants for ESC “Social and Culture Inclusion 

Venue: Ard, Romania

Dates: 15 September – 30 September 2021

One group is consisted of 4 people divided in:
2 participants with intellectual, visual, hearing or speech disabilities
1 participant with typical development
1 support person.

The main goal of the project is to contribute to achieving social and cultural inclusion of the people with disabilities through mobility and non formal education. On a short term level, the project aims to offer knowledge, skills and travel possibilities to young people with disabilities, to encourage their motivation to work on their personal independence and to contribute to their social and personal development.

In order to fulfil these objectives, each volunteer will be prepared by their sending organization through a pre-departure preparation phase. During the mobility, the volunteers will be supported by a mentor, support person and the hosting organization concerning their missions, project, states of mind, etc.

Pocket money: Participants will receive the whole amount of pocket and launch money for the 16 days. They will receive it upon arrival.

In the end of their project, the volunteer will receive a certificate stating their participation in the project and the competencies developed during the project. The Youth Pass is a European recognition certificate for informal and non-formal education. The mentor will prepare the YouthPass certificate at the end of the EVS project.
