Work with UNDP and RYCO: International and National Evaluation Experts

WESTERN BALKANS – Within the project “Supporting the Western Balkans collective leadership on reconciliation: building capacity and momentum for the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO)”, UNDP is looking to engage international and national evaluation experts.

The general objective of these assignments is to contribute to the conduct a final evaluation of the project outcome in terms of its Relevance, Impact, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Sustainability and Gender perspective and against the project-level theory of change. To that, a team of experts will be composed, consisting on one international lead evaluation consultant and six national evaluation consultants, selected across the WB6 region, including Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

“Supporting the Western Balkan’s Collective Leadership on Reconciliation” is a joint UN-RYCO project, supported financially by the UN Peacebuilding Fund, and implemented in partnership with RYCO, UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF. It focuses on enhancing social cohesion and regional reconciliation across the Western Balkans as well as strengthening the capacities of RYCO. The project was launched in 2018 and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2021.

*For the UN, all references to Kosovo shall be understood in the context of Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999).

For RYCO, this designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with Security Council Resolution 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo Declaration of Independence.
