It’s our birthday!
25 years ago, ambitious and passionate young Europeans came together to kick start the European Youth Forum as we know it today. Since then, we have been working hard to empower young people across Europe and we are happy that more than 100 organisations have joined this journey. Together, we are improving the lives of more than 25% of Europe’s population and beyond.
On our 25th anniversary there’s no better way to celebrate than together with you!
We are so excited to open up our month of celebrations so that wherever you are in Europe, you can take part. As we reflect on what the next 25 years will bring for young people, let’s come together to share our diversity and what it means to be young today.
Are you ready to challenge yourself and reward your creativity? We’re looking for photos from across Europe for our special #25ForYouthRights photo contest! Enter now and also be in with a chance of winning a brand new Polaroid Now+ i‑Type Instant Camera
What do I need to do?
We want to know, what does being young mean to you? Does it mean feeling passionate and interested in things, and being excited to grow and expand your horizons? Does it mean actively participating in democracy, looking forward to the future and having hope? Or is it simply just enjoying the present moment with your loved ones? Say it with a picture!
What kind of image should I send?
We’re looking for any digital work of art! It could be a photograph from a mobile phone or camera, a painting, a collage or any other visual medium. All you have to do is to go here, tell us a bit about yourself and submit your picture. Submissions will be accepted until 1 December 2021 / midnight CET. Good luck!
The winner will be contacted on 4 December 2021 by email. All submitted pictures will be displayed online and at the European Youth Forum’s 25th Anniversary Reception on 8 December 2021 in Brussels.
